Meet and greet with British boxing legend in aid of Northamptonshire charity

Former super-middleweight boxer, Carl Froch, will be at the centre of a meet and greet next month in aid of Northamptonshire-based charity focused on serving underprivileged families, young people and community groups in the county.

People will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions to one of the UK’s best boxers at Mercure in Northampton, with tickets also including a two-course meal, professional photograph, and access to a fundraising raffle.

Proceeds will go towards Tempeo Foundation to help the charity continue its work.

Johnathon Dowling, chair of Tempeo foundation said: “We’re proud to be hosting Carl Froch and grateful for his support of the Tempeo Foundation.

"Events like this are vital in helping us deliver on our mission to create lasting memories and meaningful experiences for children and underprivileged groups across our communities.”

The four-time Super-Middleweight World Champion held a professional record of 33 wins and two losses, most notably a pair of wins vs George Groves in 2013 and 2014.

The meet and greet event on May 15 is being hosted by Rushden-based promoter, MacMaker, which has previously been behind met and greets with sporting legends including Michael Owen, Ian Botham, George Furbank, and Robbie Fowler.

Tickets for the Carl Froch event cost £70, with doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
