McDonald's to open Burton Latimer drive-thru
Plans have been unveiled to build a branch near the A6 roundabout just off Junction 10 of the A14, a site which is likely to attract huge passing trade.
It's part of the Segro Park development, which could create up to 1,500 jobs once complete. Documents suggest the Burton Latimer McDonald's could create between 65 and 100 jobs.

It's not yet known when the popular chain hopes the restaurant will open but documents suggest it wouldn't be too long once work starts.
The proposed restaurant is a modular building, manufactured off-site and assembled on-site.
It's estimated it will only take 14 weeks to complete once groundworks start.

The first McDonald’s restaurant was opened in 1940 in San Bernardino, California, by brothers Maurice and Richard McDonald.
In 1962 the famous double-arch 'm' became their logo before they introduced clown Ronald McDonald.
