Man assaulted in East Northants village

The 54-year-old victim had his jacket pulled around his throat during the attack

Police officers are appealing for witnesses following as assault in King’s Forest, King’s Cliffe.

Between 3.20pm and 3.40pm yesterday (Tuesday) a 54-year-old man was assaulted when he had his jacket pulled around his throat by a man.

The offender was a white man and was driving a black VW Golf.

He was with a woman who was wearing a high-vis jacket with the word Weetabix on it.

The incident occurred near to the King’s Cliffe Endowed School at home time, and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault.
