Man arrested after fight outside Wellingborough supermarket

A man has been arrested following a fight outside a supermarket in Wellingborough.

Police were called to Morrison's in the town centre at about 2pm today (Wednesday) after reports of a fight outside the store.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "A 57-year-old Wellingborough man has been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and is in police custody at this time."
