Main Corby road closed after cars crash into cow
A collision that saw two cars collide with a cow closed a main road in Corby last night (Monday, October 14).
The A6003 Uppingham Road was closed near the Vian Way junction after a grey Ford Focus and a brown Vauxhall Vivaro collided with the creature.
A spokesman for Northants Police said: “The incident happened at about 8.45pm yesterday when a grey Ford Focus and a brown Vauxhall Vivaro were in collision with a cow which had got onto the road.
“No-one was seriously injured and the road re-opened a short time later.”
The condition of the cow was described as ‘limping’ and ‘injured’.
The force spokesman added: “The farmer came to check on its welfare and took it away.”
