With draws announced virtually for now there was no big knock on the door but the golden envelope is in the post.

Announcing the win, Jeff Brazier from the People's Postcode Lottery said: "Huge congratulations to our one lucky winner in NN15 7JX and that is Kettering.

"That winner is playing with one ticket and they win £30,000.

"So sorry we weren't able to come and see you in person but your golden envelope is going to be winging their way to you very soon.

"And the prize money is going to be paid straight into your account."

The north of the county's success streak over the past few months is showing no sign of letting up.

Since March neighbours in streets including Rushden's Newbury Close, Weldon's Church View, Wellingborough's Oakway and Corby's Elizabeth Street and Welland Vale Road have all won £1,000.

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales from the lottery goes directly to charities and players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500m to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
