Sumo is being looked after by the volunteers at Animals In Need, but they want to find him a new home as soon as possible.

Annie Marriott from the charity in Little Irchester said: "This giant fluff ball is Sumo.

"He is only nine-months-old so is still growing.

"Sumo is very playful and loving, ok with most dogs but will need careful introduction.

"He will require a fair sized house and secure garden to accommodate him.

"As with all puppies a family prepared to attend training classes and not leave him for long periods is essential."

But Sumo is not the only one needing a new place to call home as the charity has animals of all shapes and sizes looking for a new owner.

For more information about re-homing Sumo or any of the other animals, email [email protected] or visit the charity based at Pine Tree Farm in Little Irchester between midday and 3pm Tuesday to Sunday.
