Limited spaces for spooky Halloween trail in Wellingborough chronicling the terrible fate of 'The Twins of Swanspool House'

People in and around the Wellingborough area have been invited to a spooky Halloween trail on November 1, perfect for thrill-seekers, history buffs and those intrigued by local legends.

This Halloween season ‘The Twins of Swanspool House’, an event only for those over the age of 11, will delve into the turbulent history of ‘one of Wellingborough’s most haunted locations.’

A spokesman for Wellingborough Town Council said: “Legend has it, years ago, on this very date, a terrible fate befell the twins who once lived in Swanspool House.

"Since then, countless locals have reported strange sounds and ghostly sightings, especially as autumn nights fall. And now, we invite you to experience the mystery yourself.

“Join us for a bone-chilling evening where the spirits of Swanspool House may still roam the grounds—and their tragic tale will send shivers down your spine."

Tickets are limited for the event, and spaces for the 6.30pm until 7.30pm time have already sold out, however there are still spaces for the later time, which starts at 8pm. The council is recommending people book early, which can be done online here.

Admission is £3 per person, and families of four cost £10.
