Kick start 2026 by signing-up to Kettering half marathon and 5k race
Runners are being encouraged to sign-up to the second annual Kettering Half Marathon and 5k race.
Back for 2026, the event organised by Kettering Town Council takes place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, starting at Wicksteed Park.
As last year, runners will be taken on a loop course – through Kettering town centre on the shorter course – while the 13-mile half marathon heads to the grounds of Boughton House, before returning to the Barton Road venue finish line.
A spokesman said: “It's back for 2026! With a choice of a half marathon or a 5k race, there is something for runners of all abilities.

"Participants in the half marathon will start at Wicksteed Park, heading into the town centre and then the grounds of Boughton House, before finishing back at Wicksteed.”
Places are now available to book on the Run Through website. The race is licensed through RunBritain/UK Athletics, officially measured and open to runners of all abilities.
Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and marshals will be on the course to guide – and cheer runners – all the way to the finish.
Local road closures will be in place for the duration of the event, but there is a strict time limit on the race to minimise any disruption.

Early bird entry costs £24 for the 5k and £32 for the half marathon, and includes chip timed results, post-race refreshments, free official event photos plus a themed medal.
Organisers are looking for volunteers to help out with the races.
A spokesman for Run Through said: “If you can spare some hours to volunteer at our event it would be really appreciated. Anyone wanting to find out more about roles and what it would involve can either fill in the form below or email [email protected].”
