It's to help try and raise money for the £1m appeal for a new baby loss bereavement suite.

Organiser Jason Haynes, who works as a medical laboratory assistant at KGH, said: "The maternity ward in any hospital is generally one of the happiest places to be, however unfortunately this is not always the case.

"At KGH we pride ourselves on giving women the best care at every stage of their visit and this is all the more important when they experience a pregnancy loss.

"At present we have a dedicated room in the delivery suite where we care for families, however this isn't purpose built. To improve the holistic care we give to women and their families who sadly experience the loss of their baby, we plan to build a specialised unit, which is what The Twinkling Stars Appeal is fundraising for.

"This will provide these families with one to one dedicated care. This unit will have a delivery room, a quiet room, a family room with kitchen and bathroom and an office to enable our bereavement team to work closely with these families.

"As a big fan of Professor Elemental, I asked if he'd perform at an event for this appeal last year and was very pleased when he agreed. It was such a success that we have organised a second event for this March - this time with two excellent local acts: Aldous Pinch and The Abrahams!"

Tickets to the event cost £10 and are available from the KGH charity fund department on 01536 491569 or online at https://www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Northampton/KGH-Rec-Hall-/Professor-Elemental-Aldous-Pinch-Abrahams/13672785/.
