Kettering’s naughtiest new roadside sex store has shared its adult Christmas stocking filler ideas for anyone looking to spice up their festive season.
Opened in the autumn, Pulse & Cocktails store in Kettering has been welcoming couples and individuals looking for ‘naughty but nice’ gifts.
Nestled between Junctions 8 and 9 on the eastbound A14 the store is tucked away discretely through the BP Services and M&S Simply Food outlet.
Kettering’s Christmas best-sellers are already taking shape, with a mix of cheeky showstoppers and luxury upgrades including a handbag sex machine – a sex toy disguised as a designer-style handbag, ‘curated’ luxury sex toy gift sets and ‘tingle all the way’ intimate gels.
A member of the Kettering Pulse & Cocktails team said: “Quite a few people tell us they’ve driven past a couple of times before finally popping in.
"They’re often really surprised by how bright, clean, modern and friendly the store is. It’s not what they expect from an adult store at all – in the best possible way.”
Alongside the novelty products and playful gifts, the Kettering store is keen to position itself as a friendly, local place to shop.
Staff say the best part of the job is seeing customers leave happy with their purchase – especially those who admitted to feeling a bit shy about coming in.
A team member said: “We’re here to answer questions if people want advice, but we’re just as happy to let customers browse quietly.
“For a lot of people, it really matters to see and feel products in real life before buying something so personal.”
The store is expecting their saucy best-sellers will help see the New Year in with a bang.
