Elsie Miles, who lives at Elm Bank care home in Northampton Road, says she has "had a happy life surrounded by great people".

Elsie, originally from Bournemouth, worked as a typist but didn't enjoy it as it was too repetitive so joined the forces.

She served as a sergeant in the RAF, a role she said she enjoyed and kept her very busy.
