Beth Shine, general manager at the centre, said: "We see ourselves very much as a community hub and given the increased pressures on everyone at the moment we wanted to do something to support the health and wellbeing of the whole community during these extremely difficult times.

"The classes are professionally shot and are a good reflection of what people can normally experience at the centre. We are currently releasing one a day and they are then stored so people can access them whenever they wish."

Classes that will be available include Zumba, FitSteps, Tai Chi, pregnancy yoga and children's yoga.

Beth said: "We initially released the classes free to members however we believe at this time it’s vital for everyone to have access to tools to support physical and mental wellbeing so we have decided to extend the services as free to anyone who wishes to use it."

Ironstone Wellbeing Centre are particularly keen for NHS and key workers to be aware of the classes as they work to support us all during this difficult time.

Beth said: "It is vital that people look after their mental and physical wellbeing during this unprecedented situation, and regular exercise is an extremely important part of this.

"As we’re all being told to stay indoors as much as possible, it is especially important for people to be able to exercise in their homes.

"We hope these classes will go some way to helping with the current situation we all find ourselves in."
