Kettering venue gets world’s second installation of new virtual archery game
Bookings are now live for Lucky Chuck’s top floor, bringing new games and a private karaoke and screening room to Kettering’s Market Place.
The expansion includes only the second installation worldwide of a new virtual archery game, alongside two pinball machines and Arcade Bowls.
Also opening is Studio 76, a private karaoke room complete with disco lights, a glitter ball and tiered seating. The space doubles as a private screening room for groups wanting to enjoy films, sport or television on the big screen.
Jack Trend, managing director of Bowling Vision and founder of Lucky Chuck’s, said: “As a Kettering business, we’re proud to be able to bring the type of experiences that you usually only find in major cities to our town. We’re really excited to get the top floor open and share our space with people.”
Arcade Bowls brings lawn bowls to a new generation, combining colourful LED-illuminated balls with automated scoring. The experience also features at Center Parcs.
Created by the owners of Bowling Vision, Lucky Chuck’s serves as a working demonstration centre for social gaming technology.
Based on Kettering’s Telford Way Industrial Estate, Bowling Vision supplies games and equipment to many leading entertainment venues across the UK and Ireland. That connection brings new experiences directly to Kettering for local people to enjoy.
Lucky Chuck’s will close to the public on Thursday, October 22 for a private industry showcase, welcoming leisure operators from across the UK to try the games.
A VIP party follows on Friday (October 23) before the new top floor opens to the public in time for the October half-term.
