The sessions are being held so group members can interact and get feedback with three separate adult classes - Virtual Harmonix, Musical Theatre (Sundays 7pm to 8.30pm), Choral (Thursdays 7pm to 8.30pm) and Rock and Pop (Fridays 7pm to 8.30pm).

Beccy said: "Sunday evening sessions look at songs from the shows, Thursday evening is a more traditional and classical repertoire, and Friday evenings the songs that we look at are from the charts, both past and present.

"Everyone brings a drink with them to the class - we normally have a drink at the beginning of the in-person sessions to promote socialisation and to reduce inhibitions when I get them to make very silly sounds.

"We do a warm up both physical, but not too strenuous, and vocal, explore an aspect of the voice - and they’ll receive a downloadable resource which relates to that week’s learning - before working on a couple of songs.

"Although we can’t hear each other sing together in realtime due to latency issues, we are able to record our voices onto an app which then enables everyone to hear how it is sounding as we go along.

"It also provides me with the opportunity to give individual feedback, and know what to focus on in each session to help those who attend.

"These are open to anyone regardless of singing experience - you don’t even need to have sung before."

Costs for groups have been reduced from £10 per week to £20 per months.

Interactive classes are also being held for children with Virtual Sing Squad: at 4.15pm on Mondays for children aged from four to seven, at 5.15pm on Mondays for children aged seven to 11 and at 6pm on Tuesdays for young people in secondary school.

These classes have been reduced from £6 per week to £10 per month..

Rhiannon Flowers, who attends Virtual Harmonix, said: “I've been enjoying Harmonix from the beginning. It’s a great chance to have a good sing, be a bit silly and learn all in one place.

"In these strange and unusual times, I was beginning to miss friends and normality. Thankfully, Beccy was quick to move sessions online and for a few hours on a Sunday evening we can escape. It’s a great way to manage stress and anxiety too and welcome more than ever."
