Kettering cinema closes amid coronavirus outbreak

Kettering's Odeon cinema has shut after the Government urged people to avoid non-essential contact because of the coronavirus.
The Pegasus Court cinema is one of dozens of Odeons across the country which will be closed until further notice.

Hide AdMore than 1,500 have now been affected by the coronavirus outbreak with 55 patients who had tested positive dying.
In an email to customers, Odeon said: "Following government guidelines, Odeon cinemas are closed until further notice.
"We are refunding all advanced ticket purchases, please allow up to five working days for the refund to reach your bank account. If you have collected your ticket from the cinema, you will need to go into the cinema once we re-open for the team to process your refund.
"If you have any further questions, please contact our guest services centre.
"We look forward to welcoming you back soon."
Anyone who tries to book a ticket to a film at the Kettering cinema today is met with a message that says: "We are sorry but this performance is no longer active/available."
