Kettering animal sanctuary trying to re-home miniature Schnauzer cross, French Bulldog and two small cats with 'giant hearts'
An animal sanctuary is searching for forever homes for four animals in its care.
Redhead Rescues Animal Sanctuary is a small animal rescue based in Woodford, near Kettering, and it is keen to shine a spotlight on these cats and dogs in need of re-homing.
A spokesman for Redhead Rescues told the Northants Telegraph: “A few of our rescue animals have been awaiting their forever homes for some time now.”
Meet the animals
COCO: Coco is a small cross breed, believed to be a miniature Schnauzer cross. She is under two-years-old. Sadly coco was returned to us, she really needs a home where she will be given time to settle in. Moving is a big step for her. Coco is a bundle of energy who needs a home that can keep up with her fast pace. She didn’t have the best start in life so needs someone who will be invested in continuing her training. Best suited as an only dog, no cats or small children. Coco is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flead and wormed.
RONNIE: Ronnie is a three-year-old male frenchie. He is a sweet and adaptable boy who loves a snuggle. Ronnie enjoys his walks and has slimmed down a little with regular exercise. Like most frenchies, he doesn't do rain. He does have some guarding issues that will need continued training. He could live with another dog. Cats unknown. Ronnie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flead and wormed.
ASTRID and PHOEBE: Meet Astrid and Phoebe - two 10-month-old sisters who might be small in size but who have giant hearts. Astrid is a sleek black beauty with big green eyes and a powerful purr, always ready for chin scratches and affection. Phoebe is a sweet tabby girl who may be shy at first, but loves to curl up with her person and quietly watch the world go by. They’ve blossomed from nervous kittens into gentle, loving companions who adore cuddles and a bit of playtime. These precious sisters are searching for a cosy forever home together. Previously lived with a calm dog. Astrid and Phobe are spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flead and wormed.
All of these animals are based in Northamptonshire with full rescue back-up for life.
