Two people in Wellingborough are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Northampton Road neighbours netted the windfall when NN8 3PW was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery yesterday (Monday).

She said: “Congratulations to all the winners in NN8 3PW, brilliant news!

"I hope you enjoy spending your winnings.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of WaterAid which has received more than £15.9 million worth of funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The charity is determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
