Madge Drage celebrating her 100th birthday at Clanfield care home in Islip Madge enjoys cleaning and has a cheeky sense of humour.

She married Eric in 1952 at Bozeat's church and they lived together for 40 years.

She has two sons - John and Steven - and moved to Clanfield in December 2018.

Jamie McCarthy, activities co-ordinator at the care home, said: "Madge is very keen on dress-making, sewing, painting and loves music.

"She is most often found cleaning the house - everything has to be tidy!"

Madge celebrated her birthday at the home with a family party and said she had 'a lovely time'.

She said: "I've been very lucky. I'm not 100 through cleverness.

"I like music but the only thing I can do with an organ is clean it."
