'Incredible' family thanked by Nene Valley Community First Responders and Wellingborough ambulance crews for their kindness
This ‘incredible’ family has been thanked for their kindness and generosity at Christmas.
Aaron, Reece, Maddie, Ruth and Sarah started their ‘24 days of giving’ initiative more than 10 years ago and they continue to spread Christmas joy during December.
Among those to receive a visit from the Irchester family this month were the Nene Valley Community Responders and Wellingborough ambulance crews.
A spokesman for Nene Valley Community First Responders said: “We had the huge privilege today of meeting the amazing family Sarah, Ruth, Aaron, Reece and Maddie at Wellingborough Ambulance Station.

"For the last 11 years, this incredible family have selflessly given up their own Christmas presents to instead give gifts and recognition to local charities and people in the community who truly deserve it.
"Today, the family came along to meet some of the Nene Valley Community First Responders team, and we were also joined by some of the fantastic Wellingborough ambulance crew, making the visit even more special.
"We were all hugely privileged to be recognised by this wonderful family.
“Thank you for all you do Aaron, Reece, Maddie, Ruth and Sarah — your kindness and generosity are truly inspiring.”
Other groups across the county who have received gifts during this year’s ‘24 days of giving’ include Baby Basics, NDAS (Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service), O’Neills Cafe in Corby, Family Support Link, Envision Homeless Accommodation in Corby and Youth Works.
