How to spend a leisurely bank holiday in Corby this weekend

Corby council has announced their bank holiday opening hours for swimmers, golfers and gym-goers.

For people wanting to splash out on a swim the Corby East Midlands International Pool will open as normal on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30 with the opening hours on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31) from 9am to 5pm.

Gym bunnies can get their exercise fix at Lodge Park Sports Centre on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30 as normal but on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31) the centre will be closed all day.

Keen golfers will be able to fit in several rounds as Priors Hall Golf Course that will be open as normal on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30. The course opens on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31) from 7am to 7pm.

Corby Council’s switchboard will close at 3pm on Friday, August 28 and re-open at 9am on Tuesday, September 1.

The Corby Cube remains closed due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

There will be no changes to bin collections this Bank Holiday weekend.
