A charity choir made up of children from all over the UK, including a singer from Higham Ferrers, is set to pay tribute to key workers and raise much-needed funds for the NHS and the NSPCC.
Rebecca Hayward has joined with members of Midlands Music Services' choir in a bid to raise £2,000 by singing the classic You Raise Me Up.

Rebecca said: “I’m so pleased to have been involved with this project, to be able to say thank you to all our key workers and pay tribute to everyone who has done so much for us s a great thing to do.”
Each choir member recorded their part for the song at home before being joined together digitally.
Brendan O’Neill, Musical director for the project, runs Midlands Music Services Ltd, providing music education across the UK country. He came up with the idea of bringing his virtual children’s choir together as a tribute to the country's key workers and to raise cash for the two charities.

"We came up with the idea of setting up a virtual choir for children aged six to 16 to sing the well-known hit.
