With the Bank Holiday fast approaching, staff at Corby Urgent Care Centre have assured patients that the centre is open as usual for any urgent but non-life-threatening medical issues.

The centre, run by OnePrimaryCare, will open as normal from 8am to 8pm - this means that the centre will be open throughout the Bank Holiday weekend and on Monday, August 31 for urgent but non-life threatening health issues.

Simone Ritson, service coordinator at Corby Urgent Care Centre, said: “We hope that everyone has a safe and enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend.

"With life and plans returning to as close to normal as possible, and various activities recommencing, accidents may easily occur.

"With this in mind, we want to assure our patients that if they do need urgent medical assistance, Corby Urgent Care Centre is here to help and will be operating as usual.

“We remain open to everyone, but if you have symptoms of Covid-19 including a dry, continuous cough, high temperature or a loss or change to your senses of smell and taste, please stay at home and call 111 for medical advice.”
