Help shape future of Rothwell by having your say on Neighbourhood Plan
A six-week consultation has been launched by North Northants Council, asking residents to give their views to help shape a neighbourhood plan.
The council says the Rothwell Neighbourhood Plan will be a key document in the determination of planning applications for the town, and once it has closed, will go for examination before a referendum is held to seek its adoption.
Cllr Jan O’Hara, the council’s executive member for planning and economic growth, said: “It is important that local, rural communities across North Northamptonshire help shape where they live as they have a keen understanding of their area.
“With this in mind, I would encourage residents to come forward and have their say to help us to shape the Rothwell Neighbourhood Plan.”

The draft Neighbourhood Plan, supporting documents and details of how to respond are available on the council’s consultation hub.
The consultation will run until 7 June, and is available online here.
