Have your say on pitches, gyms, halls, leisure centres and pools in Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough and across North Northants

Residents across North Northamptonshire are being asked for their views on leisure facilities in an annual user survey.

The surveys available at all North Northamptonshire Council-owned leisure centres can be completed online, via a QR code on posters, with some paper copies available on site.

Questionnaires can also be accessed from social media posts, which will be promoted via each centre’s social media and the North Northants Leisure channels.

Councillor Helen Howell, the council’s deputy leader and executive member for sport, leisure, culture and tourism, said: “Leisure facilities are vital to communities across North Northamptonshire and we are proud of what is available. But we are also keen to make sure what we are offering is right.

"With this in mind, I would encourage as many people as possible to have their say, so we can use the feedback to drive improvements.”

The surveys are designed to assess how services are performing and questions including how helpful the staff were, ranges of programmes and classes on offer, parking and cleanliness. Each survey will be specific to the facility.

Councillor Jason Smithers, Leader of the Council, said: “The feedback we received via last year’s surveys proved invaluable in helping us improve facilities available across North Northamptonshire. I hope we receive the same level of responses this year so we can continue to grow and develop our leisure offering across the area.”

The surveys are open until Sunday, October 30.
