Could you be the next winner of Serve Goes Dancing?

Rushden-based charity Serve is looking for contestants to be the 'celebrities' for its annual fundraiser, Serve Goes Dancing.

Contestants will be put through their paces in the training room so they can then step out onto the dancefloor and shine under the glitterball.

Organiser Jenny Standen from Serve said: "It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise money to support your local community while having fun and learning to ballroom dance for free.

"You make friends for life."

Money raised by the event will go Serve, which supports older people so they can live in their own homes independently.

The charity helps elderly people across East Northants and fundraising is vital to ensure they can continue providing this lifeline.

Jake Baker took part in last year's contest and said: "You get a cha-cha-chance to have fun and raise money for a good cause.

"The professional dancers literally help you every step of the way."

Another of last year's contestants Carl Tate said: "Come along, get fitter and meet new friends.

"Dance the nights away and raise funds for a great cause, all people old and young."

Another former contestant Julie Unwin said: “Serve Goes Dancing was one of the best things I’ve done in ages.

And she added: "I highly recommend it, sign up now.

"I want to do it again, but they won’t let me."
