Hatton Rotary Club's Santa Sleigh Run returns to Wellingborough next month
The Hatton Rotary Club will host its annual Santa Sleigh Run on December 11.
The sleigh run is scheduled to begin on December 11, where Santa and his helpers will visit around 100 streets in the town over the following six nights, giving people the opportunity to greet Santa as he makes his rounds.
Paddy Waugh of the Hatton Rotary Club said: “Wellingborough residents can officially start counting down to the festive season.
"The Hatton Rotary Club has confirmed that their beloved annual Wellingborough Santa Sleigh Run is returning, bringing Father Christmas right to the town’s streets.
"Despite his notoriously hectic schedule, Santa will be making a special detour to Wellingborough, promising a magical experience for families across the area.
“The event is a vital fundraiser for the club's charitable work. During last year’s event, through the public’s generosity supporting Hatton Rotary’s collection, they were able to make a substantial contribution to their 10 chosen local and national charities. The funds collected this year will once again go towards supporting good causes in the community.”
For those who prefer a static meet-and-greet, Santa will also be appearing throughout the day at the entrance to Tesco's Superstore in Turnells Mill Lane on December 13, 14, 19, and 20.
