G4S-run Wellingborough's £253m super prison HMP Five Wells appoints fourth director in two years
HMP Five Wells will see a new director take over following the move of the current boss to another prison.
In March 2022, the £253m super prison opened to inmates with the promise of a ‘strong focus on rehabilitation’.
Current director, Will Styles, has been appointed as the director at HMP and YOI Parc, in Bridgend, and will be replaced by new director Pete Small.
A spokesman for HMP Five Wells said: “Pete Small has been appointed as the director at HMP Five Wells. He will take up this role with immediate effect.

“Pete has significant experience as a prison director, having spent seven years as director of HMP Rye Hill, and more than 30 years in senior positions in both public and privately-managed prisons.
“We thank Will for his significant contribution to HMP Five Wells where he has been instrumental in bringing it to full occupancy and establishing the foundations of a safe, respectful and purposeful environment for prisoners and staff.”
