NHS England has confirmed four more Covid-19 patients have sadly passed away at KGH, bringing the total to 54.

One person passed away on Saturday, April 11, with a further two deaths on Easter Sunday (April 12). One person passed away yesterday (April 14).

The figures released today show 651 more deaths in hospitals in England.

As of yesterday (April 14), there have been a total of 93,873 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK and 12,107 deaths associated with the virus in hospitals.

There is growing concern about the number of unconfirmed coronavirus cases and deaths in care homes.

Last week, the Northants Telegraph reported there had been four deaths at Brockfield Nursing Home in Stanwick with a further three residents testing positive.Today, the government said it would roll out testing for all care home residents and staff with symptoms of the virus.
