One post on Facebook said: "Pictures don't really show but it's across the whole road."

A spokesman for Wellingborough Council said: "The Borough Council of Wellingborough and its partners, Wellingborough Norse, have been made aware of this fly-tipping, which has been removed from the road.

"Officers will carry out an investigation of this and clear the area.

"All residents are reminded to report any fly-tipping to Wellingborough Norse by completing the online form on the council’s website or calling 01933 234520."
