Fears over missing 14-year-old Northampton girl grow as 'she could be with an older person'

Officers are still on the lookout for a 14-year-old girl from Northampton, who has been missing since January 6.
Maia Iancu, 14, was last seen during the evening when she left her home address overnight.

Hide AdNorthamptonshire Police put out a further appeal tonight (January 14) with new information, stating: ′′There is a suggestion that she could be with an older person and I strongly encourage that person to contact us, as otherwise, this person could be prosecuted for the crime of kidnapping."
She was last seen with her hair in a long ponytail and she was wearing a dark, puffer jacket, glasses, skinny jeans, white trainers and carrying a rucksack.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "We are very concerned for her welfare and ask that you contact Northamptonshire Police urgently if seen or if you have any information regarding her whereabouts, quoting reference MPN 2/75/21.
"If the missing person sees this can you please make contact with the Police to show you are safe and well."
