‘Fantastic atmosphere’ at Rushden’s annual Bark in the Park this weekend
Rushden held its annual Bark in the Park event this weekend, bringing together dog owners and their pooches for an afternoon of rigorous judging and community spirit in the Walled Garden.
Bark in the Park is a self-funded event organised by staff at Rushden Town Council, with money raised through the event supporting local animal-related charities.
This year, the Walled Garden in Hall Park welcomed dogs of all shapes and sizes with games, stalls, food and drink stands and more.
A Rushden Town Council spokesman said: “Rushden Town Council was pleased to welcome a fantastic turnout of dogs and their owners to its annual Bark in the Park event on Sunday.

“Hall Park was filled with residents and their dogs as they enjoyed an afternoon of activities, competitions and entertainment at the popular community event.
“Rushden Town Council would like to thank everyone who came along and supported the event, as well as everyone who helped to make the afternoon possible.
"The council would also like to congratulate all of the winners who took part in the various classes and competitions throughout the afternoon, and thank everyone who entered and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere.”
