‘Evening of fun and laughs’ at games night in aid of Rushden charity next month

The event on April 18 starts at 7.30pm, and will be child friendly until 9pm, with activities taking place including music bingo, play your cards right, heads or tails, and cash prizes to be won.

Sapphire Matthewman, organiser of the event said: “We are supporting Serve for this event Serve is a valued Rushden charity dedicated to helping people live independently, stay connected and thrive within their communities across Northamptonshire.

“Get ready for a full evening of fun, laughs and games – all raising money for an amazing cause.

“Grab your tickets, bring your friends, and let’s make it a night to remember.”

Sapphire’s previous fundraiser in aid of Cancer Research UK raised £250, with the hope this time around to build on its success, this time for local charity, Serve, which provides health and social care through services and assistance aimed at older people and adults with disabilities.

Last year, The Welcome Inn in Irchester Roadhosted Rushden’s first ever Pride event, with plans afoot to do the same in 2026.

Tickets cost £5, and can be booked via email at [email protected]. Children go free.
