East Northamptonshire bins won't be emptied today because of snow

Bin collections in East Northants won't take place today (Monday) because of dangerous road conditions.

Yesterday's snow has left 'treacherous' conditions on roads across the county, with crashes on the A14 and lorries stuck on the A605.

And because of the conditions East Northamptonshire Council has cancelled today's waste collections.

A council spokesman said: "Due to the dangerous conditions of the roads, there will be no waste collection today.

"These will now take place this Saturday.

"All collections from tomorrow will stay as normal.

"Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
