The incident took place sometime between 11pm on Saturday, January 16 and 8am on Sunday, January 17.

Ruby's owner said: "It's horrible - I'm devastated. I've been everywhere to look for her. The kids next door who play with her all the time love her too. She's a member of the family."

Taken from the property in Stoke Road, Ruby has lived with her owner since she was four-months-old.

Ruby, who is spayed and microchipped, is mostly white with black ears and distinctive grey spots on her head and muzzle.
