Delight for Higham Ferrers dozen with Postcode Lottery win

Twelve people in Higham Ferrers are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their postcode.
The Patenall Way neighbours landed the windfall when NN10 8PL was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery Daily Prize winner yesterday (Tuesday).

Hide AdPeople’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes and said: “What a great surprise for our winners, congratulations to them.


"I’m sure they will have fun with their winnings and I hope they go and treat themselves to something special.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Crisis which has received more than £5.7 million in funding thanks to players.

Hide AdThe charity is dedicated to ending homelessness and throughout the year helps approximately 10,000 people in England, Scotland and Wales.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefited from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
The Higham Ferrers win comes after the Northants Telegraph reported yesterday that a group of four people in Desborough will share a jackpot of £250,000 thanks to their lucky postcode.
