Delays on westbound A14 after collision near Kettering
There are delays on the westbound A14 near Rothwell after a collision involving three lorries today (Friday, February 20).
The incident between junctions J3 Rothwell and J2 Kelmarsh has left one lane closed. A spokesman for National Highways said: “The event is expected to clear between 4pm and 4.15pm on February 20.
"There are currently delays of 40 minutes against expected traffic.”
A spokeswoman for Northants Police said: “The collision occurred shortly after 12.20pm today on the westbound carriageway of the A14, between junctions 3 and 2.
“It involved the drivers of three HGVs. One driver was taken to Kettering General Hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries. Two HGVs were damaged and needed recovering.
“The carriageway was closed while the emergency services dealt with this incident and re-opened at 1.40pm.”
