Etsy Made Local's artisan fair is at the Kettering Arts Centre at St Andrew's Church on Saturday (November 30) between 10am and 4pm.

With about 25 stalls on display and workshops throughout the day the event will feature some of the best products sold by county residents on Etsy, an online marketplace used by millions to sell handmade and vintage items and craft supplies.

Fran Sherbourne, 40, runs her own Etsy page selling artisan and custom-made rubber stamps and helps run the Northamptonshire Etsy team

She said: "This is the best of local sellers showing off what they do.

"There will also be workshops throughout the day that I'm sure will be quite a hit."

Workshops include those from a potter's wheel, fabric maker, carver, how to make rag wreaths from upcycled denim and invisible mending.

Entrance to the event is free and the first 50 there get a goody bag, drink and mince pie. Refreshments will be available.

Craft items on sale will include stalls selling lazered wood, paint palette brooches, kitchen woodwork, Fran's rubber stamps, dog leads and collars, glasscraft, organic children's clothes, lampshades and notebooks, figures, recycled bottles filled with fragrances, books and subscriptions and more.

This is the third annual event in Northamptonshire and last year's market was attended by more than 1,000 people.

Similar fairs in other counties will be taking place at the same time.
