A Northamptonshire woman scooped the telly prize of a lifetime on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

Adele Aldridge from Daventry landed a car, dream holiday, furniture and a 50in TV among a dozen prizes in the Win the Ads game after gambling prizes she had already won on getting one question right.

She scooped a Nissan Qashqai worth £17,000, £1,500 to spend on a holiday, a new sofa, a carpet cleaner, 50in TV, Disney+ subscription, Samsung tablet, blinds, a year's supply of milk, £2,000 cash, £600 Dominoes Pizza voucher, year's car insurance, £1,200-worth of kitchen appliances and a luxury hamper.

And she did it despite a gaffe from question-master Dec in calling Prince Harry's son Archie the Queen's grandson instead of GREAT grandson!

When Ant asked where she planned on going, Adele simply said: "Just somewhere warm!"

She told the pair: "This is amazing, it's just the best — I can't believe it."

Adele was picked out at random from 300 homes making up the virtual audience for the Saturday night telly favourite hosted by multi-award winning duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

She got to answer as many questions as she could in 75 seconds to accumulate prizes — including the holiday and the car — based on the ads shown during Wednesday's episode of The Chase.

What Adele had actually won by getting six answers correct was kept hidden until she decided to follow advice from the rest of the audience and guest announcer Gordon Ramsay to 'play' for ALL the major prizes.

Four duffers on the board meant she could have walked away with shampoo, dog food, a cereal bar and a pack of butter!

The vital winning question was: "During an interview for the Late, Late Show with James Cordon, Prince Harry revealed the Queen sent her grandson Archie what for Christmas? Was it a waffle maker or tea set?

Adele gave the correct answer of a waffle maker — and jumped for joy when she got the right answer.
