This 'gentle soul' enjoys his walks and is looking for a new owner to share them with.

Widget is a brindle lurcher being looked after by the volunteers at Animals In Need in Little Irchester.

But he would be much happier if a new owner came forward to re-home him.

Annie Marriott from the charity which rescues and re-homes hundreds of animals each year said: "In a few weeks Widget will be celebrating his seventh birthday and he would really like to do that in a wonderful new home.

"Widget is a kind gentle soul who enjoys his walks and can be strong and lively.

"He is house-trained, travels well and would like a home with sensible older children and no other animals."

Anyone interested in re-homing Widget or any of the other animals at the charity can send an email to [email protected]
