A man who visited shops in Corby yesterday dressed in a full stormtrooper costume has revealed himself.

Daniel Morrison, who works at Moto-Tec in Occupation Road, decided to put on the costume and visit local shops to keep morale up during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. He owns the costume because he uses it to help raise funds for charities that supported his son Owen, who tragically died in 2018.

“I just had a spur of the moment thought last night about taking my costume to work and having a few hours of fun to bring some cheer and smiles in what is a very difficult time for everyone.

”I had a walk around the local area into the other shops and businesses to lighten the mood.”
