Corby's Matalan to get a new look

A new central door will make access easier for customers

Corby's Matalan store is set to be updated.

The shop is one of the longest-established on the Phoenix Parkway retail park and is in need of a spruce-up.

Bosses at the store are now planning to remove the awkward entrance and exit doors to be replaced with one central doorway. New changing rooms will be installed where the home-wares section of the shop is currently sited including a large disabled changing room.

There will also be a parent and child room within the changing area. The till layout will be altered to accomodate the changes.

They have submitted a planning application to Corby Council which details some of the changes they are hoping to make. You can view it and comment here
