Corby restaurant and takeaway praised by local MP during National Curry Week
The Royal Tandoori Indian restaurant and takeaway has been recognised by Corby MP Lee Barron for its contribution to Corby’s dining scene during National Curry Week.
In a letter sent to the restaurant in Rockingham Road, the MP praised Royal Tandoori’s ‘excellent food and warm hospitality’ and the ‘hard work the team puts into every dish and customer experience.’
The recognition follows Royal Tandoori being named best Indian restaurant and takeaway – Corby 2024 at the TMIICA Awards which are held annually.
Royal Tandoori owner Mohammed Anwar Hussain said: “This is a proud moment for our whole team and family.

"We began as a takeaway in 1979 and we’re still serving the community we love — both dine-in and takeaway.
"Thank you to our loyal customers for making Royal Tandoori Corby’s favourite.”
To meet seasonal demand, festive bookings are now open.
The restaurant will be open throughout the holiday period except on Christmas Day.
