Corby's popular Race For Life has been postponed from its spring date as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

The fun run was due to return to West Glebe Park on May 17 but organisers have cancelled the Cancer Research UK fundraiser.

Events in 2018 and 2019 were attended by more than 1,000 people, raising tens of thousands of pounds in the process.

Money raised from the Race for Life funds world-class research to help beat 200 types of cancer including bowel cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, testicular cancer, brain cancer, children’s cancers and leukaemia.
