The charity first opened its doors to rough sleepers in Corby in January and will use Belvoir’s donation to provide homemade meals for its residents.

Belvoir managing director Bobby Singh Braich said: “Every day in our business we see first-hand how important home is to people and how greatly they value it.

“It is our absolute privilege to help so many people in Corby to find their dream homes. However, it is heartbreaking to know there are people out there who don’t have somewhere to call home - something that most of us take for granted.

“This is why we are pleased to be able to support the fantastic work done by Corby Homeless Project to mark Agents Giving Day.”

Corby Homeless Project resident engagement and project lead Lucy Brooks said: “We’re very grateful to Belvoir for its kind donation as this will enable us to create homemade meals which is something our residents really enjoy doing.

We began working in Corby at the beginning of the year and the accommodation we offer has been designed to provide a warm, friendly and safe environment to help our residents grow in confidence and achieve their aspirations.

“We offer information, support and practical help to empower people and to help them move towards obtaining permanent accommodation.”
