Corby Grow Festival falls foul of Storm Ciara weather warning
Organisers of Corby's Grow Festival have had to pull the plug on the event's outdoor attractions as the first signs of Storm Ciara meant that wind speeds were too dangerous for the evening schedule.
Many of the acts and exhibits should have continued on the rolling performance programme but at approximately 5.30pm the decision was made for safety reasons to close the festval early.

Hide AdHelen Willmott, director of Made in Corby and event organiser, said: We've had no choice but to close the festival early due to the high winds and the incoming storm.
"Many of our performances include very tall costumes and it's just not safe.
"But be have had record numbers for a Grow Festival and had 600 people an hour visiting the Museum of the Moon."
The festival opened on Friday afternoon and was due to close at 11pm after the 'Full Moon Party' rave under the illuminated moon sculpture in the Core theatre at the Corby Cube.
