The Full UK (F-UK) breakfast is the brainchild of The Mushh Room Cafe co-owner Matt Lapsley who wanted to offer diners a chance to experience delicacies from around Britain.

Served on a 28cm bespoke eating platter, the big breakfast can be taken on as a challenge or shared with friends.

Matt said: "When we opened we were always going to have a food challenge and one day it came into my head why not have one big breakfast from all the different nations.

"In Corby we have people from all over. My gran was Welsh, my granddad was Scottish, my mum's English, I had an Irish godmother and I was born in Corby.

"It's appropriate that it's been created in Corby with all the different backgrounds.

"It's a unique idea that I've not seen anywhere else that we've been working on for six months."

The Full UK comprises four elements: the English - two bacon, two eggs, two Cumberland sausages, two hash browns, one portion of mushrooms and a grilled beef tomato; the Scottish -

The bespoke platter has four quadrants containing each of the home nation's specialty breakfast favourites

two Clyde tunnel square sausages (square sausage inset with black pudding), two bacon, potato scones, chopped plum tomatoes, scrambled eggs and fried bread; the Irish - two

Guinness sausages, two bacon, three mini soda bread loaves, two eggs and plum tomatoes and the Welsh - two laver bread 'cakes', two Glamorgan sausages, vine-ripened cherry

tomatoes, two bacon, and fried eggs, all with toast, a whole tin of baked beans, all washed down with four pots of tea or coffee.

Chef and co-owner, Emma Wilkie said: "It's proper quality food- there's no rubbish. We get our Irish and Scottish sausages from a Corby supplier, the Village meat club.
