A five-year-old boy is in a critical condition at Birmingham Children's Hospital after a quad bike accident.
The child sustained life-threatening head injuries after a collision with a metal barrier in Occupation Road, Middleton, near Corby.
The boy was riding on the back of a quad bike being driven by an 18-year-old man yesterday (Thursday, March 26) at around 7.35pm.
Police officers are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 1746615 or Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 361 of 26/03/20.
