Chester House to offer ‘budget friendly’ Halloween activities this October half term
Chester House Estate will start its Halloween celebrations next week, bringing a host of spooky activities to the historic site just off the A45.
From Saturday, October 24, until Saturday, October 31, the attraction will launch its Halloween programme, Spooksville… If You Dare!, featuring a range of events and activities to keep the kids busy this half term.
Such tricks included during the week are a pumpkin patch and carving station, a hay bale tractor maze, ghost hunt trails and face painting, as well as dedicated SEND sessions starting at 9.15am before main entry opens which provide a calm, low-sensory environment tailored for children with sensory processing needs.

Cllr Greg Wilcox, North Northamptonshire Council’s executive member for communities and rural affairs, said: “We are very much aware that school holidays can be expensive times for families and had this in mind when planning this year’s Halloween event at the Chester House Estate.
“I am sure, as with previous years, there will be a real spooky atmosphere on site and I would encourage you to book your tickets now.”
And a treat for the adults, parking at Chester House is free, including dedicated accessible parking via Lime Avenue).
Morning sessions will take place from 10am until 1pm and afternoon sessions from 2pm until 5pm.
