CCTV installed in Raunds park following reports of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the area
A CCTV camera has been installed in a Raunds park following concerns over anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the area.
The camera has been installed and is now live in Amos Lawrence Park in the town.
A spokesman for the town council said: “Raunds Town Council are pleased to announce that CCTV is now in action at Amos Lawrence Park.
"The CCTV camera has been erected in response to reports from the general public regarding anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the area.

"It is hoped that with the camera now active, this will help deter these activities from occurring.
"If you witness any anti-social behaviour or suspicious activity, report it immediately to the police by calling 101 or online via www.northants.police.uk/RO.”
The most recent crime statistics from Northamptonshire Police show there were 59 incidents of anti-social behaviour in Irthlingborough and Raunds in August (2026).
And there were eight incidents of criminal damage and arson reported across the two towns that month.
